At long last the under drawing is complete so it is time to step back again to see if I need to make any revisions. I am not completely happy with the shape and overall height of the dome so I may have to go back and redraw. It is good to make these corrections now because once you have applied your first wash, that’s it! When erasing be sure to use a kneaded or rubber eraser, which is much less damaging to the watercolor paper. Standard and pink erasers will damage the surface of the paper and undoubtedly leave colored marks all of your paper.
Once I make any corrections I will be ready to move on to masking the drawing for the actual painting process. So stay tuned……
